Lightweight and easy to maneuver, the iron features an ergonomic open-design handle, soft grips, and nonslip texturing. For safety, it has 3-way automatic shutoff--after 25 seconds if left on its soleplate or side and after 12-1/2 minutes if left on its heel. Temperature selection is controlled with a dial, and the 8-foot pivoting cord with securing clip accommodates left- and right-handed users.
